1 December 2012 – Mystery Box Challenge – Part 3

Can you believe that December is here!!  I’m in denial as I haven’t done much shopping yet and I’ve still got cards to make!!

To finish off the Mystery Box Challenge, I have a few more projects to share.  For the month of August, we just had to include 6 pieces of 6″ x 6″ patterned paper.  As Beau Chateau retired at the end of August, I have included 6″ pieces from the Birds of a Feather DSP from the current catalogue.  I think it’s one of my new favourites!!

September – 5 gift cards in assorted styles.  I made matching envelopes using the diagonal plate for the Simply Scored.  Too easy!!

October – Food/chocolate container.  I used one of the Kraft Gift Boxes which is an easy way to create a quick gift.  I’ve filled it up with Favourites!!

November – Hand made Christmas decoration.  Well, this wasn’t a hard one to do.  I used the Holiday Ornament framelits and Beau Chateau DSP and topped it off with a couple of snow flakes.  Love it!!!

December – 3 Christmas cards including envelopes.  One of these is for my lucky recipient from me!!

I hope she enjoys everything that I have made, I’ve enjoyed making it.

29 November 2012 – Mystery Box Challenge – Part 2

I hope you have enjoyed the projects so far.

For May, we had to make a bag or tote of some type.  I love the Tea Shoppe Stamp Set especially the gorgeous cup!

June – A Book mark and post it note cover.  I love the Delicate Doilies Sizzlits from the new catalogue.  Just so pretty!!

July – One small gift container containing bits and bobs.  I used an empty brad container (I knew I was keeping them for a reason!) and decorated it and put in lots of brads and buttons from my stash.

I’ll be back with more to share later!

27 November 2012 – Mystery Box Challenge Part 1

I’ve been participating in a Mystery Box Challenge this year with the ESAD facebook group that I belong to.  At the start of the year, we received a list of items to be made each month with the end result being a gift box of goodies to send to a lucky recipient.

My goal was to make each item in the appropriate month, but sometimes life doesn’t work out that way.  As the deadline for posting the box is 1 December, I’ve been madly trying to get it all finished.  I finally did it last week and just have to package up the box and post it off.

I wanted to keep it all matching as much as I could, so I have used Beau Chateau Designer Series Paper from the previous catalogue as the main paper to base it around.  I love this paper and I’m so glad that I’ve still got some left!!

So for January’s project, we had to cover a box so that we could store all the items in.  I’m afraid I cheated on this one and bought a box from one of the cheap stores as it had a lovely velvet look!!

February’s project was 4 assorted cards with different themes and matching envelopes. Now I have cased these but it was so long ago and I didn’t keep a record of where.  I’m really happy with how they turned out!

March – A covered note book plus a family favourite recipe typed/written out to share.  Must remember to put in a recipe!!

April – Easter inspired card or gift box.  My downline had created this cute carrot from the Petal Cone die, which is very cute!

I’ll be back in the next day or so with more!!
