I wanted to try out another one of Bronwyn Eastley’s fabulous tutorials as they are fabulous and so easy to follow. You can check them all out here.
I love the Baby Crib Z Fold card, so I decided to have a play with it using current products.
Once I had decided on the card, I had a look through my stamp sets only to find that I only have a few baby sets! Crisis!! But then I realised that the new Amazing Congratulations stamp set from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue does have baby sentiments so I was excited to use it. I wanted to use the Naturally Eclectic DSP as it’s so pretty and perfect for a baby card.
The congratulations stamp is quite large but it just fits across the card. I used Peekaboo Peach and Pumpkin Pie ink to create the shades and then I hand cut the word out. Nothing like a bit of fussy cutting!
And don’t you love the fox from Foxy Friends!! I had to keep him as part of the card because, well, he’s just too cute!!
If you love this card, and want to try it out, make sure you visit Bronwyn’s store, here, to grab the tutorial.

Stampin’ Up! Product List
At the Global Design Project this week, the challenge is a baby theme. I love the large sentiment on the Big News stamp set, so I decided to base my card around that.
I then choose Mint Macaron and Hello Honey for my colours. I don’t have any of the Baby DSP from this catalogue (I’m trying to be sensible!!) but then I realised that I only have the neutrals DSP stack which doesn’t quite go with my colour theme. But I DO have the Color Me Irresistible Specialty DSP, so I decided to colour the dotty one with my sponge dauber and Mint Macaron.
Once I stamped the image from the Big News stamp set, I coloured the words in with the Hello Honey marker as I wanted them to stand out.
I then stamped a duckie from the Something for Baby stamp set and cut it out with the matching framelits, Baby’s First. I LOVE matching framelits!!
Now I just need to find someone having a baby to give this card too!! I wonder who it will be!!

I was so excited when one of my stamping besties, Jessica of The Paper Caper, told me that she had been invited to be a part of a new challenge blog, The Global Design Project. She certainly deserves to be a part of such a talented and inspiring team.
I like to support my friends’ in their endeavours, whether it’s shopping at their stores or participating in challenge blogs, so I had to give this one a go!! For their first project, they have gone with a colour challenge.
It’s very pretty, isn’t it!! I felt this said baby girl to me, so I had a look through my stamps and decided to use the cute little duck from Something for Baby. I may have also been persuaded to use this set as it has a matching set of framelits (Baby’s First) and I knew I wouldn’t have to cut it out!!
To make the dotty background, I used the Color Me Irresistible specialty DSP and sponged it with a stamping sponge as opposed to using a dauber. I wanted to make sure that it was softly coloured and not too splotchy which can sometimes happen with a dauber (at least it does to me).
I then made 2 banners and cut the ends with the Triple banner punch which I just love!! No more dodgy banners for me!!
So, what do you think?
I had fun playing along with this challenge and I can’t wait to see what’s on for next week!!
I’d love if you would leave me a comment and let me know what you think!!
Stampin’ Up! Product List
There’s nothing like cuddles with a new little baby and watching their cute little face as they sleep.
One of my friends had a little boy just the other day and I popped around for a visit today. I love baby cuddles!! However, nappy change time is not for me!!
Of course, I can’t go around empty handed, so I cased this card from Pinterest. But it’s a little boy so you can’t add a doily, so I used the bannner from the Balloon framelits from the Occasions catalogue.
The Lullaby DSP is so cute. Did you know that one side of the dsp is in pink tones and the other blue. That way there’s no wastage as you can use it all!!
And of course, no card is complete without a bit of bling!! It’s sort of blue isn’t it!! hehe!!
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
Stamp Set: Big News
Ink: Hello Honey
Paper: Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Hello Honey, Lullaby DSP
Accessories: Balloon framelits, Bermuda bay sequins.
So this week we are exploring the Baby section of the catalogue. There are so many cute things to choose from!! Almost makes me want to have a baby so I can make such cute things!!
So when I looked through this section, I found that I didn’t have many of the baby stamp sets. I really only need to have one set so that I can make cards for when my friends have babies. I had got the Something for Baby Stamp set and co-ordinating framelits during the pre-order period of the catty as I love it when things match!! Also, how cute is that onesie!!
So I thought I would case the baby shower decorations on page 72 of the AU/NZ catalogue.
But I didn’t want to copy it exactly, so I thought I would turn them into cards.
I have to say I love the duckie stamp and of course the framelit!! And I’m so glad the pram has a matching framelit cos I would not want to cut that sucker out!!
Let me know what you think!!
So make sure you join in with the Challenge at http://www.caseingthecatty.blogspot.com.au

Firstly, I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas for tomorrow!! I am looking forward to sharing lunch with my family and in-laws, then having a dip in the pool after a great feast!!
It’s been a while since I last posted. It’s been very hectic with work and getting ready for Christmas that I haven’t had time to create anything let alone post anything!! I’m planning on doing better from now on!!
I must share with you the new Clearance Rack Blitz which is now on and will be a permanent fixture!! YAY!!!!
Stampin’ Up! will regularly update the Clearance Rack with new items, so make sure you check it out, here . They are retired items which will only be in the Rack until they are sold out, so make sure you get in quick!!
I wanted to share a quick card that I have made as part of a set for my Grandparents for Christmas. I was stuck for what to get 90 year old’s for Christmas so I thought I would make them birthday cards to give the family throughout the year.
I found this card by Amy Bollmans, here. I too recently got the Zoo Babies stamp set and thought it would make a nice card for one of my 2nd cousins. I have done a shameless case but why change a perfect card!! I love it!!

The challenge for this week is really simple. Check it out here.
I have a friend who has just had a baby, so I thought this would be a good sketch for a baby card. I hope you like it!!
