I love the You’ve Got This stamp set and I’m really sad to see it go.  I love how it has a distressed background stamp and then of course, the beautiful flower stamp.

I was inspired by the card on page 101 of the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue.

I used Wisteria Wonder as the base of the card and I stamped the distressed background stamp twice on a piece of Old Olive cardstock.  I embossed the flower in silver on watercolour paper and coloured it using the retired Pink Pirouette Stampin’ Blends and the continuing Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.  I then cut it out and added lots of dimensionals on the back.  I added a bow using Powder Pink finely woven ribbon.

I then stamped the sentiment in Powder pink on matching cardstock and used the 1 3/4″ circle punch.

I will be sad to see this set go but I think there will be lots of lovely news ones to play with!!

Next up we are heading over the pond to Sandra in New Zealand.  Can’t wait to see what she has created!

CTC74 – Shine On

ctc_header

Welcome back to another week of Caseing the Catty.  This week we are casing the Shine On section of the Occasions catalogue.  This is the most gorgeous DSP!!  If you don’t have any, you NEEED it!!

I have decided to case the gift bag on the right hand side at the back of this picture, however I made mine into a card.  I used the jewel inspired silver piece of the DSP as I’m planning on sending this card to my niece when she get’s her learner’s permit and she is a gorgeous jewel!!

I used the curvy corner trio punch to create my tag and the bow builder punch for the bow.  I stamped a piece of cucumber crush with the triangle stamp from Dotty Angles stamp set and then punched out the bow.

Thank goodness for polymer stamps!!  I used the cute arrow stamp from You’re so lovely stamp set and carefully stamped the arrows across the card.

I also cased a few of the tags on page 30.  I used the Tags and Labels framelits to create the tags which was so easy!!  I used the You’re so Lovely stamp set for the sentiments.  Aren’t those little tags so cute!!
