CTC142 – Love & Sympathy

We’ve had another try of winter today, but I think it might a last blast of the season!  At least I hope so!

We are back casing the Love and Sympathy section of the 2017 -2018 Annual Catalogue, pages 86-101.

This time, I decided to case the card on the left on page 97 featuring the Ribbon of Courage bundle.

I wanted to do a different colour combination so I went to My Create Ink to suggest a combo for me.  I went with Berry Burst, Pear Pizzazz and Powder Pink.

I did a wash of Berry Burst for the background.  I then used Berry Burst for the sentiment which comes from the Ribbon of Courage set.  I then cut out lots of flowers and leaves using Flourish thinlits.  I didn’t actually use them all but I had them just in case.

I also used the Pear Pizzazz Shimmer ribbon which is so pretty.  I added a few pearls to cover the centres of the flowers.

Next up is my lovely friend, Julia!  You’ll love what she has created for us.

Come and join in with us and share your projects of the Love and Sympathy section of the catalogue at our Facebook Group here.

CTC140 – For Babies and Kids

As you may know, one of my favourite perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is being able to see and order products first.  And this week, demonstrators got to see and order from the 2017 Holiday catalogue!!  I tell you, you are going to love it!  I’m presently unpatiently waiting for the post lady to bring my treasures to me!!

Whilst I am waiting, I’ve been playing with my goodies from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue for Caseing the Catty.  This week, we are casing the For Babies & Kids section from pages 102-111.

I actually didn’t go past the first page of this section to choose my project for this week.  I decided to case the card at the top right of the display (which by the way, is just gorgeous, isn’t it!)

The Bundle of Love Specialty DSP is so pretty and I just love how the reverse of the pink and blue dsp are the same pattern in Gold!

I wanted to use a different colour so I went with Wisteria Wonder.  I don’t have the Born to be Loved stamp set (but I’m thinking maybe I do need it!) so I decided to create my heart using the Bloomin’ Heart thinlits and gold foil.  How pretty is the heart in gold!  I then stamped the sentiment from the Ribbon of Courage set in Wisteria Wonder and cut it out using the Sweet and Sassy heart framelits.  I went for the same look with the Metallic edge ribbon and added three mini sequins with the fine tip glue pen at the bottom.

I attached the gold heart using a combination of standard and mini dimensional’s.

I hope you have enjoyed my case of this card this week.  You can share your projects at our Facebook group, which you can join here.

Next up is fellow kitty lover, Peta.

CTC36 – Thanks

It’s been an exciting time at CTC this week.  We are welcoming 7 new Crew members to the team.  A big welcome to Fi Cobbin, Rose Packer, Alisa Tilsner, Megan Lenske, Peta Stephen, Sandra Collett and Angela Meiritz-Reid!!  They will start joining in with the hops over the next few weeks, so make sure you say hi to them!

This week we are casing the Thanks section, pages 126 – 131, of the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue.

As I was flipping through this section, as soon as I saw the card on page 129, I knew which one I was doing for today!  I love the Eastern Palace bundle, especially done in light colours.

I have cased the card on the right hand side.  Now having said I like it in lighter colours, I’ve gone with a darker colour, Tranquil Tide!  I love this colour and haven’t used it very much.

I used the Layered Leaves embossing folder.  It’s one of the new 3d dynamic textured impressions embossing folders (try and say that fast!!).

I kept the same circle from the Eastern Medallions thinlits as I love these circles!  I used the sentiment from the Ribbon of Courage stamp set and stamped it in Tranquil Tide on Vellum.  I also used the matching Eastern gold vinyl stickers.

Of course, my new favourite gold accessory, mini sequins, has made an appearance again!!

Next up, is the amazing Kelly Kent!

Stampin’ Up! Product List

Oh Happy Day

It’s the best day of the Stampin’ Up! calendar!!  Well actually it was yesterday but I had to work and didn’t get a chance to blog.

It’s a new catalogue!!  Woo Hoo!!  Have you had a chance to see this gorgeous new catalogue.  It will keep you quiet for hours whilst you check out all the new goodies.  If you want to see it online, click here, or I’m happy to post one out to you.  Just send me an email at stampinwithrebecca@yahoo.com.au and I’ll get one off to you.

I have had the catalogue since the start of April when I attended the Stampin’ Up! Onstage event in Sydney.  I’ve had my catalogue bound at Officeworks and had a spiral edge put on it.  I do this every year although it’s always hard to be separated from my catty!  But it’s worth it as it stops it getting tatty.

I was lucky enough to receive the Ribbon of Courage stamp set as a Prize Patrol at Onstage.  I think this is a great set and will be handy for fundraising events.

I didn’t receive the framelits, but you can bet they were one of the first things on my order!

My team did a swap after Onstage and I decided to use this set.  I was inspired by one of the amazing Artisan’s, Kimberly Van Diepen, with her lovely card highlight Autism Awareness.

I used the new Berry Burst In Colour which is quickly becoming one of my new favourites.  I also have to say that the Stitched Shape framelits are my favs as well!!

I just love this set and I’m sure I will be using it a lot.

If you need it too, you can order at my online store, here.  Make sure you use hostess code, T3PYE2CD, to go into the draw to receive a gift from me.

Happy New Catalogue Shopping!
