Welcome back to 2019 and a new exciting year of Caseing the Catty. I am excited that we have five new Crew members joining us this year!! A big welcome to Lauren, Siobhan, Michelle, Shannon and Tina.
And we also have the new 2019 Occasions Catalogue and the Sale-a-bration Catalogue! woo hoo!!!
So to start off the year, we are caseiing the Sale-a-bration Catalogue. You can case anything from the catty from a layout, colour combo or a project.
There are so many gorgeous new products and projects in the SAB catty! It’s hard to decide which one to case!! I went with the Call Me Clover card on page 15.
This card is showing off the new Lovely Lattice stamp set which you can earn for free by spending $90 with me.
I decided to change the colour to Gorgeous Grape because I like it! To create the background, I cut out 2 of the Trellis piece from the Rose Trellis thinlits and glue one row together using the Fine Tip glue pen. I then attached the whole piece to the card. I then stamped the flowers from the Lovely Lattice stamp set in Memento black ink and fussy cut it out.
Using the Rose Trellis thinlits, I cut out the sentiment piece in Gray Granite and stamped the sentiment from Climbing Roses stamp set.
I then added a few of the new Gingham Gala adhesive backed sequins. Aside from the fussy cutting, this was an easy card to make! Oh and I forgot to mention that the Lovely Lattice Stamp set is one of the new Cling mount stamp sets!! As someone who lives in a humid area (hello, Queensland!!), I often struggle with my stamps not staying on the clear blocks. There is no budging the cling mount sets!! They work beautifully.
Next up is my new friend, Shannon Kissane. I can’t wait to see what she has created for us!
Make sure you share your creations from the Sale-a-bration Catalogue with us at our Facebook Group.

Are you as excited as me? The 2019 Occasions Catalogue starts today!!!
Oh and Happy New Year everyone!! It seems like 2018 went past so fast!! Do I really have to go back to work on Monday?
At least having the 2019 Occasions Catalogue to drool over will make it a bit better. And of course, a new year means that it’s also Sale-a-bration time! Every year, the goodies offered by Stampin’ Up! for free get better and better. There’s stamps, paper, framelits, wooden embellishments, foil paper and more!!
For those who don’t know, Sale-a-bration runs from 3 January to 31 March and for every $90 you spend with me, you will be able to choose a free product from the Sale-a-bration catalogue.
Here’s a card that I made using the free Botanical Butterfly DSP.
All I’ve done is cut out the butterflies from the DSP and created the banner for the sentiment using the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set. (I actually cased this card from the Stampin’ Success magazine that all Stampin’ Up! demonstrators receive) #demoperks
So you can earn free products by:

Hosting a workshop with me
or by taking advantage of the joining special and receiving lots of free goodies!!!
There are two fabulous options for joining this year. Option 2 receives the gorgeous Craft & Carry tote bag which is perfect for taking your stamping equipment on the go!

Stampin’ Up! Product List
We’ve finally had a couple of cooler days over the weekend, which has been lovely!!
This week we are casing the Occasion Kits section, pages 15-17, of the 2018 Occasions Catalogue.
There are only a few projects to choose from which made it a bit easier to pick one!!
I cased one of the cards from the Perennial Birthday Project Kit. This is a gorgeous kit and the box is to die for!! I may have bought it just for the box!! I am casing the pink card on page 16.
I used the card bases from the free Tutti-Frutti cards and envelopes that you can earn during Sale-a-bration. You get 16 cards and envelopes in the pack with 4 cards of each of the 4 colours. In keeping with the tutti frutti theme, I used the Lots of Labels framelits and cut out the largest frame in the Tutti Frutti DSP stack.
I then cut out a banner in co-ordinating card stock and used my favourite punch, the Triple banner punch.
I used the Bunch of Banner framelits to cut out another banner and stamped it with the birthday sentiment from the Fruit Basket stamp set.
These cards were so easy to put together! Don’t you love the Tutti Frutti DSP!
Next up is Rachel, I can’t wait to see what she has created.

Actually we have two new catalogues today!! How exciting!! I just love this time of year as we all get to earn lots of free goodies from the Sale-a-bration catalogue. And who doesn’t love freebies!!
What is Sale-a-bration? Well for every $90 AUD you spend, you get to choose an item for free from the range in the Sale-a-bration (SAB) catalogue, from today 4th January to 31st March. There are so many lovely stamp sets and other accessories for you to choose from! One of my favourites is the Inside the Lines DSP. It is a black and white print that you can colour in!! You can use markers or the new watercolour pencils which are so easy to use!!
Check out this video from Stampin’ Up! which shows all the papers and a few samples.
Isn’t it gorgeous!! If you love this, and would like to earn your own freebie, you can place an order, or host a workshop. There are lots of great benefits for hosting. Here are the extra freebies that you can earn.
I’d love to host a workshop with you, so let me know when you would like to schedule one!!
