I want to share a gorgeous card that we did at last month’s stamp club. I wanted to show the girls the new Wildflower Meadow embossing folder and the matching Wildflower Meadow stamp set. I found this lovely card on Pinterest (is there any other place to look!!) by Rachel Tessman. I pretty much cased the whole card as I really liked it.
I also love the paper doilies. Are they not the best thing since sliced bread!! I also got to use my new oval framelits.
Here’s a close up of the details.
Stamp Set: Wildflower Meadow
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Old Olive markers
Paper: Old Olive, Whisper White
Accessories: Big Shot, Wildflower Meadow embossing folder, Delicate Designs embossing folder, Oval framelits, paper doilies, Scallop trim border punch, Daffodil Delight stitched grosgrain ribbon.
Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.
Yes, it’s the last day of the 2012/2013 Stampin’ Up! catalogue.
I’ve have had so many favourites from this catalogue which I’m sad to see the end of. One of my favourite Designer Series Papers is Twitterpated. Such a gorgeous DSP!!
Now whilst this stamp set (One in a Million) is still carrying onto the new Catalogue, I thought I would share one last card from the 2012/2013 catalogue.
I made this card recently for a friend who had a baby girl recently. It was quick and easy to make which is nice to do occasionally.
Stamp set: One in a Million
Paper: Twitterpated DSP, Pretty in Pink
Ink: Rose Red
Accessories: White Organza Ribbon, Scallop Trim Border punch
Happy Birthday to Roz!
I’ve been wanting to use the Daydream Medallion stamp set and the matching Floral Frames framelits since I got them when the new catalogue came out. I finally found a great card (where else but Pinterest!!) here.
I used the Comfort Cafe DSP, which I really like. I used two in-colours – Midnight Muse and Summer Starfruit, which also gave me the opportunity to use some of the free ribbon I got in October. (love freebies!!)
Have I mentioned before that I love framelits!! Maybe once or twice!!
Stamp Set: Daydream Medallions, Blue Ribbon
Ink: Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse
Paper: Comfort Cafe DSP, Midnight Muse, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Big Shot, Floral Frames framelits, 1 1/4″ circle punch, Scallop trim border punch, Midnight Muse striped ribbon.
As a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I have access to a demonstrator only forum which links all demos from around the world, Stampin Connection. It has a great gallery of images for inspiration. The first card that I am sharing today is by Melissa Stout, The Stamp Doc. Check out her website here for a video on how she made this cute card.
This card is using the Festival of Prints DSP from the new Seasonal Catalogue. This pack gives you 48 sheets of gorgeous papers that are 11.4 cm x 16.5 cm. I think this is the first time that I have used the pennant part of the Perfect Pennants die!!
Ink: Early Espresso
Paper: Festival of Prints DSP, Early Espresso , Very Vanilla, Old Olive
Accessories: Big Shot, Holiday Collection framelits, Silver Glimmer paper, rhinestones, Perfect Pennants Bigz Die, Dotted Scallop ribbon border punch, Scallop trim border punch and scallop edge border punch.
This card is from fellow Aussie demo, Ellen Woodbridge. It uses the Papaya Collage stamp set from the New Catalogue. You can see what I mean about needing the framelits for banners!! Never mind, it’s the thought that counts, right?
