Welcome back to another week of Caseing the Catty. This week we are casing the Shine On section of the Occasions catalogue. This is the most gorgeous DSP!! If you don’t have any, you NEEED it!!
I have decided to case the gift bag on the right hand side at the back of this picture, however I made mine into a card. I used the jewel inspired silver piece of the DSP as I’m planning on sending this card to my niece when she get’s her learner’s permit and she is a gorgeous jewel!!
I used the curvy corner trio punch to create my tag and the bow builder punch for the bow. I stamped a piece of cucumber crush with the triangle stamp from Dotty Angles stamp set and then punched out the bow.
Thank goodness for polymer stamps!! I used the cute arrow stamp from You’re so lovely stamp set and carefully stamped the arrows across the card.
I also cased a few of the tags on page 30. I used the Tags and Labels framelits to create the tags which was so easy!! I used the You’re so Lovely stamp set for the sentiments. Aren’t those little tags so cute!!
Next on the hop is Rachel so make you pop over and visit!!
Don’t forget you can also join in with our challenges. You can link up your entry here.

Stampin’ Up! Product List
This week at CASE-ing the Catty, we are being inspired by the lovely, gorgeous Holiday Designer Series Paper in the Holiday Catalogue.
There is so much lovely designer series paper in this catalogue. And I have to say that I’m having trouble cutting up the Home for Christmas DSP!! I usually have no problems cutting up DSP but this one is just so nice!!
I was inspired by the cards on page 8 of the catalogue and I decided to CASE them fairly closely. Why re-invent the wheel when they look gorgeous anyway!!
I cased 3 of the projects on this picture. I used the Home for Christmas DSP and the matching Cozy Christmas stamp set.
I think the little reindeer on the DSP are very cute so I cut out 2 (one for the inside). I used my On Film framelits to create the frame which I should do more often as it looks great!!
And how cute is that little reindeer on the inside. It’s a great way to use the deer which are on the side of the DSP.
For my second card, I decided to turn the gift bag into a card. I don’t have the pom pom trim so I decided to put a Stripes satin ribbon bow at the top.
For my final card, I went with the bow card. I love my bow builder punch so any opportunity to use it!! And I’m loving square cards as well!!
I hope you have enjoyed my cards for this week and are inspired to actually use all that lovely, gorgeous designer series paper!!!

Happy stamping and hopping
Stampin’ Up! Product List
Have you had a chance to try out the Bow Builder punch!! It’s too cute!!
I was inspired recently by this cute card I found on Pinterest by Helen Ding. (You can see her card, here)
I also wanted to try out the new Painted Petals stamp set and the matching Spring flowers embossing folder, so this card is great for both. I used my favourite colour, Rose Red for the background.
How cute is that bow!! and it was so easy to put together. Don’t forget when you punch out your bow, that you need to punch 2 out, otherwise you end up with only half a bow. I also like to use the bone folder to curl the bow as well.
