It’s a new Catalogue!!

Happy New Year!! Can you believe we are at the start of a new year, let alone a new decade!! I’m sure I blinked and 2019 went by!

One of my favourite ways to start off the New Year is with a new catalogue and Sale-a-bration. And both catalogues start today!! Woot, woot!!

There are so many gorgeous new products to play with! I have to say I’m so excited for the Clubhouse Bundle!! My dad is a golfer, so he is set for cards forever. Even if you aren’t into golf, the Country Club Designer Series paper is great for male cards.

Of course, we also have Sale-a-bration starting today as well.

In case you don’t know, Sale-a-bration is from 3 January to 31 March. For every $90 (AUD) you spend on catalogue items, you can choose a free SAB item. This year we have a number of Level 2 items you can select which you can get for free when your order is over $180 (AUD).

You can get the Power of Hope bundle, which includes a stamp set and a Stone 3d embossing folder or the small bloom punch or Lily Pad dies.

If you are thinking you would like to host a workshop during Sale-a-bration, when your sales reach $500 you will receive the Little Lady bug stamp set for free!!

Please contact me to schedule in a date for a workshop!!

One of my favourite things during Sale-a-bration is the fabulous joining offer!! And this year’s offer is outstanding!!

So for $169, you will be able to choose $235 worth of products from either the 2019 – 2020 Annual Catalogue and the 2020 January – June Mini Catalogue.

But wait, there’s more!! You will also receive a mini paper trimmer (which is the cutest thing since sliced bread!!), a 6″ x 6″ dsp stack which includes samples from nearly all of the papers from the mini catalogue AND a stamp set of your choice to any value.

Now if you are concerned, there’s no commitment required if you don’t want to. You can buy the starter kit and you don’t need to place any other orders. OR you can create a business from the kit to be able to fund your hobby or beyond!! Click here to go to my online store to join.

I’m hoping to share a few projects in the next couple of days, so make sure you pop back!

Happy Stamping and Happy New Years!

I love new colours!

It’s an exciting day today!!  As a demonstrator, I am privileged to get to see the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue today!

We have some exciting news to share with you.  We are getting a Colour Revamp with this new catalogue!  Yay!!  I always love to see what gorgeous new colours we get to play with.

Sadly it means that there are a few colours retiring.

We are saying farewell to Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip, Elegant Eggplant, Island Indigo, Rose Red, Wild Wasabi, Soft Sky, Marina Mist, Pink Pirouette, Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise and Wisteria Wonder.  Oh and also the 2016-2018 In-Colours, Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum.  Now you might have noticed that Flirty Flamingo isn’t on the list.  That’s because it isn’t retiring!!  It is staying on as part of the Brights Collection!  Woo hoo!!

So first up, here are the new 2018-2020 In-Colours and the 2017-2019 In-Colours!!

Aren’t they fabulous!!  I can’t wait to see them in person.  I think I already love Lovely Lipstick!!

Without further ado, here are the brand new colours!!

How stunning are they!  I really love Merry Merlot and Highland Heather and Balmy Blue and Shaded Spruce and….  I think I like them all!  Lol

So here are all the new colour families.  Note that Whisper White, Very Vanilla and Basic Black are not included.  Don’t worry, they are still available but as a new grouping called Basic’s.

I can’t wait to get the new colours and re-organise my colours!!  It’s my second favourite part of crafting, organising craft supplies!

Stampin’ Up! have also taken the opportunity to update the ink pad cases as well. They’re now even easier to open, made to be stackable, and have stickers for the inside so you can be sure you’ve got the right ink colour when you stamp. The print is bigger, the colour label is larger, and the new lids fit even more snugly, for less ink evaporation over time.

So if your favourite colour is retiring, make sure you order quickly.  Stampin’ Up! have guaranteed Stamp Pads and Ink refills will be available until 7 May and then whilst supplies last.  Cardstock, embellishments, markers and the colour caddy are whilst supplies last from now.

Click here to go to my online store and order today!  Make sure you quote hostess code 9AVFJDRQ to receive a surprise gift from me.  Every player wins a prize!!

If you would like to see the retiring list for the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue, click here.

And if you can’t wait until 1 June to get the new colours, you can join me on my team and become a demonstrator.  All demos get a copy of the Annual Catalogue in May and have the opportunity to order from a selected range of products from the catty from 2 May.  Just go to my online page, here, and join up today.  You can also choose retiring products in your kit and make great savings.  It’s only $169 to join but you can choose up to $235 worth of product!

Oh, I’m so happy to be a demonstrator today!!  Now to stalk the postie until my order arrives!

Catalogue Launch

I always love to have a catalogue launch at the start of a new annual catalogue.  It’s a great way to get the new catalogue in the hands of my customers and it also gives me an opportunity to spoil them as a thank you for supporting my little business.

This year, I combined my launch with the Biggest Morning Tea event run by the Cancer Council.  I think this is a really worthy case and I love to support them each year.  If you would love to donate to my event, you can click on the image below.

So here’s a couple of pictures of my set up on the day.  I decorated with the Pop of Paradise Specialty DSP which is just gorgeous.  I love the colour combo of Basic Black, Melon Mambo and Gold.

So onto the projects that we made on the day.  Stampin’ Up! gave demonstrators the opportunity to purchase products from the new catalogue prior to launch day and also gave us some suggested projects to make using these products!!  How nice of them!!

My first project was a little gift packet using the Kraft Tag a Bag Gift bags.  Have you noticed these before?  I certainly had not!!  You get 10 in the pack for only $6.25.  Using the Pop of Paradise stamp set, I gold embossed the leaves (why is it always windy on the day you do embossing!!).  Gold embossing on kraft paper looks A-MAZ-ING!!  A couple of strips of the DSP wrapped around the bag, some gold ribbon, a smaller piece of the Gold speciality DSP from the pack and a hand cut flamingo (yes, there were complaints about cutting it out!!) and banner, and voila, a gorgeous gift holder!!

For our second project, I got out the Gift Bag punch board and using a 6″ x 12″ piece of Kraft cardstock, I created the box (Using M as the size and not scoring the side triangles).

To speed things up on the day, I pre-cut the swirls and leaves from the Swirly Scribbles thinlits.  So then we got stamping with the swirls in So Saffron, Pool Party, Flirty Flamingo and Sweet Sugarplum from the Swirly Bird stamp set and glued down the petals using the fine tipped glue pen.  I love making banners with the Triple Banner punch.  I cut the whisper white piece to fit the middle sized marking on the punch and the kraft one for the smallest.  To stamp the sentiment, which is from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set, I started with the one in the middle, lining it up with the centre of the banner.  Then stamped on either side.

I used the Playful Palette washi tape on the end of the banner and added a bow of solid whisper white baker’s twine.  Doesn’t it look cute!!

I had my friend, Sarah Jane of Rustic Bakes by Sarah Jane, do the catering for me and I asked her to make some special biscuits for me so I could package them up for the ladies to take home.  They look great and taste pretty good too!!  She also made gorgeous cupcakes, and a chocolate slice and a passionfruit slice.  Nom, nom!!

I hope you enjoyed my projects, the ladies who came to my launch did!!

Happy Stamping
