I took so many pictures at convention that I’ve had to do a couple of blog posts!! Here is the link to Part 1.
We had a great day of general sessions, workshops and make and takes. We ended the evening with the Awards Night and After Party!! So much fun, although it was a little damp at times during the day!!

I have just come home from a fabulous time at the Inspire, Create, Share Stampin’ Up! Convention on the Gold Coast. Convention is something I always look forward to. It’s a great time of catching up with old friends, making new ones, seeing amazing new products and winning prizes!!
I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Leadership afternoon and Manager’s Reception on Wednesday. It was a great afternoon learning about new plans and being inspired in our business.
Afterwards, we were treated to an evening at the Australian Outback Spectacular which was amazing!! Makes me proud to be an Aussie!!

We were lucky enough to receive the 2015-2016 catalogue first this year!! It was so exciting!! We also saw demonstrations of the new products and found out the new In-colours!! Woo hoo!!! I love being a demo!!!
We finished off the day with a team dinner at the Kurrawa Surf Club and a rather large storm!!

I have just returned from the Inspire Create Share convention held on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. I always have such a great time, catching up with my team, seeing lots of great projects and did I mention that I got a copy of the New Catalogue!!! I love being a demo!!!
One of the traditions of convention, is participating in swaps. My team had decided to do a two-inchie swap. What’s that, I hear you ask? It’s basically a 2 inch square, which we decided to do using the brights colour collection and in a party theme.
So here is my swap. I used the owl punch and made 40 crazy owls!! (He’s been to a party after all!!)
As you know, I am also part of the Case-ing the Catty Design Crew. Most of us were attending convention and we decided to do a small swap.
I have been wanting to try out the Bokeh technique so I thought I would give it a try. It was a bit scary but I’m happy with how it turned out. Each one looks different!!
If you would like to find out about becoming a demonstrator and getting to share in the fun of convention, seeing products first and receiving the catalogue before everyone else, please contact me on 0408 193 792 or click on the link to join my team straight away!!
Now to start cleaning up my craft room!! It always looks like a bomb has hit before convention!!!
Stampin’ Up! products used:
One of my favourite parts of Convention is receiving free stamps!!! I was fortunate enough to be able to attend Leadership and Managers’ Reception with some of the lovely girls in my team.
We got to go to the Myer Mural Hall in Melbourne for a lovely dinner and dancing!! We also got spoilt with a beautiful gift of a gorgeous lacy cream scarf and the I Love Lace stamp set.
So I was having an online crafting session with a gorgeous friend and crazy stamper, and we gave each other a colour challenge and a sketch challenge to do. My colours were Bermuda Bay, Tangerine Tango and Sahara Sand.
So what do you think!! The lace stamp is so gorgeous that it goes with almost anything!!
Firstly, can you believe it is the start of winter today!! Where has the year gone!!
Last week, I attended the Inspire Create Share convention in Melbourne. I had such a fun time!!! One of my favourite parts about convention is catching up with old friends and making new ones. We have a tradition of making gifts for our room mates so I searched for something different to make this year. I found Tanya Bell’s Washi Tape Box tutorial here, which is soooo cute and fairly easy to make.
I’ve been making a few roses lately, so I thought I would whip up a bunch for everyone as well. I’m a bit over pink at the moment, so I made them in Daffodil Delight. Don’t they look cute!!
I also received lots of lovely gifts as well. My roomies’ are so talented!!!
I’ll be sharing more photos of convention later this week.
I am part of a Facebook group which is open to everyone who loves My Digital Studio™, Simply My Digital Studio Challenge, which has a new challenge each week to try out new techniques or sketches. You can check it out here.
Recently, a sketch was posted which I felt I could do now that I’ve been playing with MDS™ for a while. It didn’t take all that long to do once I had decided which papers to use. I got the Convention 2013 download which goes perfectly with my Convention photos. It also has an album which I’m still working on.
If you are interested in MDS™, you can download a free trial. Just click on the picture and download away!!
I’ve just attended the 2013 Stampin’ Up! Be the Difference Convention. It was absolutely Amazing!! I am so honoured to be a part of such a generous company. In fact, it’s an amazing family and I’m so glad to be a part of it.
I had a great time catching up with old friends, meeting new ones and learning lots from talented demonstrators who were presenting. This was my fifth convention and every one is better than the last. This year, I was privileged to be able to attend the Leadership sessions and the Manager’s reception. I have learned a lot which I will be implementing in my business.
Shelli Gardner is such a kind and generous person with the loveliest smile! She sat having her photo taken for long periods of time with us all. I was determined this year that I wasn’t going to miss out on a photo so I joined the queue. Once I had my photo taken with Shelli by her husband, Sterling, I asked Shelli to take my picture with him!!
On Friday night, we had the Awards night and after party. Everyone got glammed up and we had so much fun!! After the awards were presented, we headed into the next room and partied on!! There were tasty dessert canapes, a dance floor and a photo booth. We boogied with some of the SU! staff and had our photos taken in the photo booth.
Here’s a picture of my room mates, Emma, Annette, Jessica and I. Didn’t we look fabulous!!
We also took the opportunity to take a photo of our team. I am so honoured to be part of such an inspiring group of ladies!!
Next year, Convention will be in Melbourne and I can’t wait for it to come!! If you would love to be a part of my team and come with me next year, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 0408 193 792.
