The yearly Stampin’ Up! convention is almost here and I’m so excited that it is in my home town of Brisbane!! I can’t wait to welcome all my team members to Brissie!! Only 9 more sleeps to go!!!
It’s been very hectic here getting all my swaps ready but I wanted to share this gorgeous card that we did at Stamp Club recently. I came across a tutorial by fellow SU! demonstrator, Tanya Bell, who does the most amazing work and creates fabulous tutorials. You can purchase Tanya’s tutorial here.
As it was so lovely, I didn’t really change very much. It was a fairly challenging card to do as a class but the girls took up the challenge and they all finished their card (although I’m not sure if they’re going to make another one!!).

I have one final Christmas project to show you. My wonderful upline and friend, Tracy, made me this gorgeous cane heart ornament for my home. Photos do not do it justice!!

At the recent Stampin’ Up! Heartfelt event held in Brisbane, there was a gorgeous table setting display by a fellow demonstrator, Jacqui Crouch, using the Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and matching Holiday Ornaments framelits.
It was a setting to die for!! I loved the candle that she had decorated so I took a few photos and got a candle and whipped it up!!
I made 8 petals for the base and attached each petal to a chipboard circle using my trusty hot glue gun. I then cut 3″ pieces (or 3 scallops) of Crumb Cake Scalloped Tulle Ribbon and glued it between each petal and then the centre of each petal.
I then made a belly band to go around the candle using the Delicate Designs embossing folder. I sponged it with Crumb Cake and cut out the scallops by hand. I attached it to a Cherry Cobbler band and put two rows of crochet trim. I used the Snow Flurry die to create the snow flake and sponged with Crumb Cake. I then used the Boho Blossoms punch and added a large pearl in the middle. See? Easy Peasy!!
