It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no it’s a peacock.

I’ve been having a play with my new Blendabilities and the new stamps I got in my latest order. I love the Perfect Peacock stamp. I saw a lovely card done at Convention and I couldn’t wait to receive my own so I could have a play. It didn’t take as long as I expected to colour in. I think it took longer to unthread the sequins and stick them on!! peacock I also wanted to try it using Dazzling Diamonds. So I stamped it in Versamark, then used some heat and stick powder and dunked a whole tub of Dazzling Diamonds onto it!! Did you know that glitter goes a looooong way. I think I’m still wearing it!!! The photo doesn’t really do it justice but the glitter seems to have hints of bermuda bay and blackberry bliss so I teamed them together. glitter peacock I’d love to hear what you think!!! Happy Stamping Rebecca

14 August 2012 – July Stamp Club

Hi there,

It’s starting to get a bit warmer during the day now although it is a bit chilly at night time.  Here’s the cards that we made at July Stamp Club (yes I know I’m late posting!!)  I was inspired by swaps that I had received at Convention for all these cards.  The first one is from fellow Demonstrator, Cathy Clark.

Here is her card using the Spirelli technique.

And here is my card.  Yes, it’s time for a Christmas Card!!

Stamps:  Merry & Type

Paper:  Letters to Santa DSP, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler

Ink:  Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive markers

Accessories:  Big Shot, Perfect Pennants die, Boho Blossoms punch, White baker’s twine, Cherry Cobbler baker’s twine, Rhinestone.

The next card was inspired by Bronwen Cornish. I did virtually the same card that she did.  We made ours in Melon Mambo and Tempting Turquoise.  You can’t really tell from the photo but we put a multipurpose adhesive sheet over the centre panel and put dazzling diamonds over the top.  We were all a bit sparkly going home!!

Stamps:  It’s Your Birthday, Mixed Bunch

Paper:  Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White

Ink:  Tempting Turquoise

Accessories:  Blossom punch, Multi-purpose adhesive sheets, 1″ circle punch, dazzling diamonds.

The last card was by Heather Moekotte which I just love!  I really love the Tea Shoppe stamp set. And guess what, it’s in the new Catalogue!!!!  woo hoo!!!

19 May 2012 – May Stamp Club – No. 3

Here’s the last card that we will be making today.  I cased this one from here.  This card looks much nicer in the flesh.  I’ve glittered the flower in the middle (and myself and the desk!!) using Dazzling Diamonds.

Did I mention that Stampin’ Up! have changed the starter kit?  It’s now even better to join SU!  It’s only $169 for the starter kit and you can choose whatever products you like up to the value of $235.  So if you already have a few Stampin’ Up! products, you don’t have to double up on them now.  If you join in May, you can also receive a pack of Designer Series Paper every month from June to December.  How great it that!!  Please contact me if you are interested.  stampinwithrebecca@yahoo.com.au or 0408 193 792.
