I hope you have had a great weekend. I had my card class yesterday and a Stampin’ Up! crafting event online last night. My craft room looked like a bomb had exploded in it, so I spent some time this morning finding the desk and putting it all away. It’s so much nicer to work in a tidy space!! And I found an ink pad that had been hiding!
We are saying farewell to the January – June 2022 Mini Catalogue at the end of this month, so this week’s challenge is to case your favourite retiring bundle.
I was flipping through the catalogue and I realised that I had the Dahlia Days bundle and I hadn’t used it!!! Isn’t that terrible!! I decided to case the card on page 35 on the top right hand side.
I cut out the large floral die in vellum and then stamped some flowers in Sweet Sorbet, Mango Melody and Parakeet Party. For the background of the card, I used a piece of the 2022-2024 In-Colour DSP.
I layered the flowers under the vellum die cut but added the tiny flowers on the top. As this is a red rubber stamp set, I was able to use markers to colour the stamp for the sentiment. I love that this sentiment/tag piece has a matching die in the Detailed Dahlias Dies.
This card also has a special feature in that it opens to the left instead of the normal right!! Ooops, didn’t discover that until it was too late to change it.
Next up is the lovely Julia.
We would love to see your creation, so please share over on at our Facebook group.
Happy Stamping

I really love the die cut vellum – it looks sooooo good. Great card.
Thank you 😊
Hehehe, it’s a left hander’s card! I made one of those last week, too! Your card is so pretty – the flowers under the vellum outline look amazing.
That’s right! Hehe
Your card is very pretty, Rebecca. Great CASE.
Thank you 😊
