It’s been a rainy drizzly weekend which is just perfect for crafting!! I had my catalogue launch class yesterday and we had a lovely time crafting whilst the rain was coming down.
We are back casing the 2022 January – June Occasions Catalogue this week. We are casing the bundles on pages 75 to 83.
I love the Crane of Fortune bundle at the moment. (Might have something to do with the trip to Japan that I’m planning for next year!!) I’m casing the card on page 77.
My travelling friend loves purple, so that inspired my colour choice for this card. The base is Highland Heather which I stamped in Gorgeous Grape using the Crane of Fortune stamp set. I then stamped the next layer which is Fresh Freesia cardstock using Fresh Freesia ink. Instead of a vellum strip, I cut out the long floral die in Basic White. I used Sahara Sand ink and paper for the crane.
The sentiment is from the Crane of Fortune stamp set and I cut it out using the new All That dies.
I’m so pleased with how this turned out!! Next up is the lovely Sandra.
We would love to see your creations, so please share on over at our Facebook group.
Happy Stamping

love the flowers behind the crane instead of the vellum – great card. And what a marvellous trip to enjoy!!
Thanks!
What a gorgeous colour combo, and how exciting to be planning a trip to Japan. Your card is definitely going to get you in the mood to do some more planning.
Thanks!
Lovely colours and love the addition of the flower strip instead of the vellum. I don’t blame you being inspired by your upcoming Japan trip. I think a lot of people have missed travelling these past few years.
Thank you!
