CTC363 – Favourite Retiring Bundle

I hope you have had a great week! I’ve worked all weekend, but I was organised and got my card and post ready early.

This week, we are casing our favourite retiring bundle. There are so many great bundles and note that some of the bundles are not retiring but just won’t be sold as a bundle any longer so make sure you grab them now to take advantage of the bundled price.

I decided to case a card on page 88 of the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue that features the Tidings & Trimmings bundle. Yes I know we haven’t had Easter yet and it’s a bit early for Christmas cards, but I really love this bundle and the matching designer series paper.

I really like this layout and it’s a great way to use up scraps of paper. It also shows off the lovely Tidings of Christmas DSP. I used Cherry Cobbler cardstock for the base of the card and then cut strips of DSP in a variety of widths. I then played around with the layout of the strips and attached them to the base. I then realised that I hadn’t added a strip of plain cardstock to stamp the sentiment onto. Fortunately I had put a lighter print in the middle, so I just stamped it onto that piece. The sentiment is from the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set. I then stamped the stocking and cut out the die cut pieces from the Christmas Tidings dies. I added a bow in Gold shimmer ribbon.

And yay, I’ve started on my Christmas cards for this year!! Lol!

Next up is my friend, Peta.

We would love to see your creation so please share over on at our Facebook group.

Happy Stamping
