Welcome to a soggy Queensland weekend!! If you are in South East Queensland, I hope you are keeping safe and dry. We get flooded in on either side of our housing estate but our home is fine. Our water tanks have been well flushed out!!
This week we are casing embossing projects from any of the catalogues, including the SAB catty, Mini Catty or Annual Catalogue.
I decided to case a couple of the rainbow cards on page 18 of the January-June 2022 Mini Catalogue and combine them together.
I’m casing the two on the left side. I used the Hive embossing folder as the background (it always gives me a thrill when I run it through the cutting machine and open up the folder and see the embossed cardstock). I then selected the colours for my rainbows and went with the In-Colours that are about to retire, Just Jade, Bumblebee and Magenta Madness and cut them out using the Brilliant Rainbow dies. I didn’t use the largest arch as my cardstock wasn’t big enough. I then cut out the long scalloped die in Just Jade, how pretty is this!! The sentiment is from the Wildlife Wonder stamp set, stamped in Magenta Madness. I then added the clouds (which hid the fact that I didn’t make the bottoms of the rainbows straight!!
