I hope you are having a great weekend!! I’ve been celebrating my mum’s 70th birthday and we’ve had a fun time!! We had high tea on Friday at Mt Tamborine and a special Chinese dinner with the whole family on Saturday night.
This week, we are casing the colours of the gorgeous Blackberry Beauty DSP, which are Polished Pink, Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry, Cinnamon Cider, Early Espresso and Gold.
This is the most gorgeous paper!! You won’t be surprised but I love the touches of gold on each piece. So I was inspired by the card with the gray base and the tall flowers. It reminded me of the Quiet Meadow stamp set and the matching Meadow dies.
Firstly, I embossed the gold brushed metallic cardstock using the Bark embossing folder. I then die cut a few flowers in Cinnamon Cider, Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss. I then stamped them with the splats image in the stamp set in Early Espresso.
I also die cut a half butterfly in gold. I then gathered up the flowers in a bunch and attached them to the base using glue dots. The sentiment is from the Quiet Meadow set and die cut using the Meadow dies.
It’s a bit blingy!!! But I have no problem with that, do you?
Next up is my friend, Rachel.
We would love to see your creations so please share over on at our Facebook group.
Happy Stamping
