CTC344 – Embossing

I hope you have had a great week! I sure did!! Firstly, I spend the two hottest days of the week putting up my Christmas trees and decorations. Yes, I said trees!! I have one large tree in my front lounge, and then I have a smaller (5 foot) tree in my kitchen/dining area. This one is my travel tree and has all the ornaments that I purchased on the last few trips I did. Christmas ornaments are a great souvenir as they aren’t very big and you don’t need to have them on display all year.

This is the larger tree in my front room.
This is my newish dresser with a new garland across the top.

What also made my week is that it was the Stampin’ Up! Onstage at Home event. Usually we travel somewhere for an in person event but we are still doing online events, so I got to chill out on the couch and watch all the fun!! I was privileged to achieve a Level 1 Leadership award.

So this week, we are casing an Embossing project from either catalogue. Now you could case an embossing folder project or a embossing powder project.

As I was flipping through the catalogue, I found a card on page 34 featuring the Candy Cane stamp set which was embossed in white and then water coloured with Real Red and Green.

I decided to emboss my piece of shimmery white cardstock with the Merry Melody embossing folder and then water coloured the top half with Real Red and the bottom with Just Jade. I then attached it to a Just Jade card base. I then added a piece of Real Red Mini Ruffled Ribbon . I stamped the sentiment from Merry Snowflakes in Just Jade and cut it out using the Tasteful Labels dies. I did add some more Wink of Stella to the card but it isn’t really showing in the photo.

Next up is my lovely friend, Julia.

We would love to see your creation, so please share over on at our Facebook group.

Happy Stamping
