CTC322 – Case Favourite Annual Catty Suite

Welcome to Caseing the Catty! As you may know, I do shift work and I’ve been working the last couple of weekends. I don’t know what day it is anymore!! Could be Thursday, feels like Monday!

We are casing our Favourite Annual Catalogue Suite from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. Yes, we haven’t forgotten the Annual Catalogue in amongst the excitement of the Mini and SAB Catties!!

I am actually casing one of the cards from our challenge image which I didn’t do on purpose even though I’m the one who creates the graphics! I just love the Simply Elegant Suite which includes the Elegantly Said Stamp Set, Elegant Tag Punch, Simply Elegant DSP and the Simply Elegant Trim.

I am casing the small card on the left of the image.

I haven’t created a smaller card and have kept it at an A5 size. I added an extra strip of the gorgeous Simply Elegant DSP. I then punched out the Elegant Tag punch in Very Vanilla. I embossed the sentiment from Elegantly Said stamp set in copper embossing powder (don’t you love watching embossing powder melt!!). I then stamped the flower in Basic Gray. I did use the retired copper trim behind the punched shape and added a bow.

I had to make a second card using the Peaceful Prints DSP which is a Sale-a-bration freebie! I started off with a Garden Green base and I embossed another piece using the Wintry 3d embossing folder. I cut 5 stips of DSP and hand cut a reindeer. I cut out a couple of labels from the Seasonal Labels dies and stamped the sentiment from Christmas to Remember using markers.

I hope you like my cards, please leave me a comment and let me know! Next up is the lovely Rachel.

Please share your creation over on at our Facebook group.

Happy Stamping

  1. Great cards and a great way to use up strips of DSP. The first card is really elegant and the Christmas one is a bit more fun.

  2. It’s great to see the layout with such different patterned papers, Rebecca. Both are great, but look so different! I really like the extra texture from the embossing folder on the deer card, too.

  3. Oh, your first card is so elegant! I love the way you’ve stamped the flower on the sentiment label after embossing the sentiment – it looks fabulous! Your Christmas card is very bright and cheerful.

  4. Love this layout as a brilliant way to use these gorgeous papers. Doesn’t the retired copper trim look fabulous with your first card. Love love love. And you’ve done a great job fussy cutting the deer!!
