CTC327 – Case the Holidays

Welcome to another great week of Caseing the Catty. Did you know that it is our 7th Anniversary!! We have been casing the amazing Stampin’ Up! catalogues for 7 years!! I personally love the up close look at the catalogues and the challenge to create every week.

This week, we are casing the Holiday section, pages 88-95, of the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue.

I really love the Tidings of Christmas suite. The DSP is just so lovely and it’s in the 15% off sale at the moment, so make sure you check it out!! I’ve actually decided to case a non-Christmas card on page 95.

I’ve just got the Tailor Made Tags dies and I really love them, so I’m using them on everything!! I started off having a look at my embossing folders and I went with one of the Wintry folders in Just Jade. I then flipped through my DSP for a paper that included Just Jade and landed on Sweet Symmetry DSP. This is just a pretty paper (also in the sale!!).

I cut out the tags then realised that I should have gone a bit smaller so I flipped the card to landscape. The sentiment on the tag is from the Color & Contour stamp set.

I want to say a big thank you to all the girls on the Caseing the Catty Design Team!! I love you all and I can’t wait to catch up with you at a Stampin’ Up! event and give you all a big hug!!

Next up is the lovely Sandra.

We would love to see your creation, so please share over on our Facebook group.

Happy Stamping

  1. The embossed leaves are just lovely! And I use these Tailored Tag dies too – they’re just awesome!! Gorgeous card.

  2. Thanks for stepping in to wrangle the DT Crew Rebecca! I love this challenge and have really enjoyed creating beside the whole team and catching up with them at in-person events … looking forward to the next one.
I love your CASE, those dies have been on my wish list but down the list a bit, however they are making their way up quickly and may well make them onto my next order!

  3. Great case! I love how you flipped the orientation even if you didn’t plan it originally. The tags remind me of luggage tags and your card has a tropical feel. If only we could travel at the moment. Love the bright colours and the embossing folder background.
