CTC325 – Case a die bundle

Well hasn’t it been a fun week!! Depending on where you live, you might have been in a lockdown. I managed one day at work for the week and also had a covid test. I’ve had a cold so off for a test I went. But no need to worry, it’s all good (although wearing a mask when you have a drippy nose is not fun!!)

This week, we are casing the die bundle section on pages 156-161 of the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. I love these pages as they are extra projects showing off all the gorgeous bundles.

I decided to case the Inspired Thoughts bundle on page 160. You may have noticed that I am not really a fan of tree stamps (I did not buy Lovely as a Tree!!) but I caved in and got the Inspired Thoughts bundle. I got it as I really like the stamp set and the font used.

I decided not to re-invent the wheel and cased most of the card. I turned it on it’s side as I wanted to use the whole tree die cut. I did cut out the trunks in early espresso and glue them over the garden green die cut. I then cut out lots of leaves in garden green and pear pizzazz. Once I attached the leaves, I used my blending brush in garden green over the top of all the leaves to tone down the brightness of the pear pizzazz cardstock. I also used the brush to sponge the lower half of the white background cardstock. I then added some wink of stella over the leaves, because, well do you really need a reason to add Stella!!

I added a few Bumblebee trinkets like the original. The sentiment is from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set and I used the Label Me Fancy punch. I layered the Fine Art gold ribbon under the sentiment.

Next up is the lovely Sandra. I can’t wait to see what she has created.

We would love to see your creation so please share over on at our Facebook group.

Happy Stamping
