CTC309 – Casing a Bundle

Have you noticed that at the back of the catalogues, there are pages of samples showing off all the bundles that are also spread out through the catty. Well, we are casing these gorgeous pages this week!

It’s nice to be able to see more samples and ideas of how to use each bundle. I decided to case the Art Gallery Bundle picture on page 77.

I started off with embossing the Pearlescent Specialty paper with the Painted Texture embossing folder. I used the Beautiful Brushstrokes dies to create the flowers in Cherry Cobbler and Blushing Bride. Once I assembled the flowers with fine tip glue, I sponged each one with blending brushes. And of course, I had to add Wink of Stella over the top.

I then played with the layout and committed with glue once I was happy. I then used the dark Cherry Cobbler blends to create a red ribbon using the Metallic Edge ribbon. The sentiment is from the Brushed Blooms stamp set and cut out using the Tasteful Labels dies.

It looks more sparkly in real life and I love it!

Next up is the lovely Julia. I always love to see what she has created!

We would love to see your case of the bundles at the back of the catalogue, so please share over on at our Facebook group.
