CTC306 – Bring the Bling

I hope you have had a great week! I went to a craft show yesterday for the first time in a year. It was so nice to see lots of crafty things! I may have made a few purchases!!

This week we are bringing the bling!! We are casing a glitter/sparkly project from either catalogue. If you find it glittery or sparkly, you can case it!!

I decided to case the card on page 20 of the January-June Mini Catalogue, which features the Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Actetate. I used a piece of the free Sale-a-bration Paper Blooms DSP for the background of the card.

I’ve just purchased the Wrapped Bouquet bundle which includes the Wrapped Bouquet stamp set and the Wrapped Flowers dies, so I used this as my feature flowers. I actually used the flowers that were not attached to the wrapper and then stamped just the wrapper as I wanted the bigger bunch of flowers. I coloured the flowers using Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue, Rococo Rose and Daffodil Delight blends and of course, I added Wink of Stella over all the flowers. I added a bow made from the Fine Art Ribbon.

Next up is the lovely Julia.

We would love to see your creation where you bring the bling, so please share it over on at our Facebook group.

  1. Oh! doesn’t the mercury acetate look great over the top of the patterned paper! Brilliant idea!! Love the bigger bunch of flowers too. So much gorgeousness and so clever.
