CTC304 – Case Love You Always Suite

I hope you are having a great week! My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary this week. I can’t believe it’s been that long!!

We are casing the Love You Always Suite, pages 10-13, of the January -June 2021 Mini Catalogue.

I decided to case 2 cards from page 10. I started off with the floral/striped card at the bottom of the page.

So I used a piece of striped paper from the Ice Cream Corner DSP and added a piece of vellum like the original. I then stamped a sentiment from the SAB Heal Your Heart on a piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock. I cut it out using the new Stitched with Whimsy dies. Aren’t they cute!!

The flowers are from the So Much Love stamp set and I coloured them with Old Olive, Purple Posy, Pool Party and So Saffron blends. I then fussy cut them out and attached to the card using dimensionals.

For my second card, I cased the Always card on page 10. Instead of creating my own background using stamps, I used a piece of dsp from the Fine Art Floral DSP and put a piece of vellum over it to tone down the brightness of the paper.

I used the Circle Celebration stamp set in Daffodil Delight and cut out using the circle dies. For some reason, I thought the Just want to say die had the words attached to each other but they don’t!! I cut out the words in Pretty Peacock and attached using dimensionals. I used the Floral Gallery dies for the sentiment which also comes from the Art Gallery stamp set.

Next up is the lovely Peta and Marvi.

We would love to see your creations from this section, so please share on our Facebook Group.
