CTC293 – Case a card from p36

It’s been a fun weekend! Usually at this time of year, I’m off travelling to the Stampin’ Up! Onstage event and attending with my team. This year, we are having to do things a bit differently. We had Onstage@Home! Stampin’ Up! did an amazing job with this event. We kicked off on Thursday night with Pat Benatar! Which lead into the recognition event, where a number of the Crew were recognised for their achievements from the past Stampin’ Up! year. A special mention to Simone Bartrum and Rose Packer for achieving the Incentive Trip to Maui. What a great achievement, Congrats girls!!

This week, we are casing any card from page 36 of the August – December 2020 Mini Catalogue.

I’ve decided to case the card in the middle with the banner. I used the Christmas Gleaming DSP as I love the copper highlights on it. I used some retired copper embossing powder and stamped the ornaments from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set. Which were punched out with the Gleaming Ornaments punch pack. That’s a lot of gleaming going on!!

I stamped the Night of Navy banner with the little splatter stamp from the set. I cut the bottom of the banner using the banner punch which is perfect for someone like me who can’t cut an even banner to save myself! I attached it using dimensionals. I kept the same sentiment as the original card which is from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set which was also embossed in Copper embossing powder. I used double dimensionals at one end so that it was even. I used a little bit of the retired copper trim to “hang” the ornaments.

It’s such a shiny card, the photo doesn’t do it justice!

Next up is the lovely Rachel.

We would love to see your creation so please share over at our Facebook group.

Happy Stamping

  1. Great elements and the copper embossing on the ornaments looks great. Lovely card in non-traditional Christmas colours.
