CTC292 – Case sketch on p159

I’m so excited that it’s November!! I can put my Christmas tree up soon!! I’ve joined a Christmas facebook group and it’s so inspiring!! If you are a Christmas addict like me, this is the group for you.

We have had a week of rain and yesterday we had hail 3 times! Fortunately for us, it was only small but other parts of Brisbane had tennis ball sized hail. It’s nice to see the grass coming through all green instead of being brown and dry. I’m guessing next weekend, my husband will be out mowing!

This week, we are casing a sketch on page 59 of the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue.

And here is the sketch!

This is such a great sketch! You can see from the Crew that there are so many different ways to use it.

I started off with a piece of Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper which I put on a piece of Whisper White on top of a piece of Cherry Cobbler. I then embossed a piece of Pear Pizzazz using one of the Wrapped in Texture embossing folders. I then layered it onto another piece of Pear Pizzazz for give a small border. The sentiment is from Wrapped in Christmas stamp set in Cherry Cobbler and die cut using the Celebration Labels dies. (Aren’t these labels fabulous!!) The ribbon is from Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo pack.

Next up is fellow Queenslander, Julia.

We would love to see your creation using this sketch, so please share on our Facebook group.

Happy Stamping

  1. Lovely card, Rebecca. The embossed piece adds a nice layer of texture, but not too bold. I must remember to use this set of EF more.
