CTC271 – Week 2 – Casing the new catalogue

I’m so excited to share some of my favourite new goodies from the brand spanking new 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue!!

This week, we are casing our favourites from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue.

My new catty order has been shipped (yay!!) but not here yet, so I’m sharing a couple of projects using the goodies I received on pre-order.

I love the Onate Garden suite which has been available since April. I’m casing the Thank You card on page 64.

I’m really enjoying the World of Good Specialty DSP and the new brass foil. So the base of my card is Cinnamon Cider (one of the new in-colours). I’ve added a piece of vellum under the foil which I’ve cut out with the Ornate Borders dies. I used Mossy Meadow cardstock for the piece behind the sentiment. I also stamped the sentiment from the Ornate Thanks stamp set in Mossy Meadow (which apparently needs to be re-inked!!)

I couldn’t stop at just one card this week!! I just purchased the Tasteful Touches bundle which includes the Tasteful Touches stamp set and the Tasteful Labels dies. I really got this bundle for the dies as there are so many great labels to use. But I’d seen a few cards done using the stamps so thought I would get both. The In Good Taste DSP is part of this suite and it’s fabulous!! It has lots of great textures including wood, tiles and fabric.

I like the cards on page 123 so I decided to case the blue tile card on the right hand side.

I have cased this fairly closely. I’ve used the same dsp but I’ve used a different die and stamp for the sentiment. I also did my flowers in Crushed Curry. I don’t have the In Good Taste Elements so I used scalloped lace trim.

I love this DSP!! I need more!! (Luckily, there’s another pack in my order that’s on the way!!)

Next up is the lovely Shannon. You are going to love her creation this week.

We would love to see your favourites from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. Share over on our Facebook group.

Happy Stamping

  1. The brass foil works beautifully withe the ornate dies, as does the DSP you’ve used as the background on the first card. I love the pop of the yellow flowers on the blue & white background of the second card. I love that paper, too! Going to get so much use out of it. ๐Ÿ™‚ Siobhan.

  2. I’m I total agreement with you over the In Good Taste DSP, it’s one of my all time favourites. Your cards are fantastic, I especially love the second card with the stamping on the pale wood DSP.

  3. Great colour combo for the thank you card. Great take on the second card also. I donโ€™t have this DSP yet, but it should be on itโ€™s way soon as I did order it last week.
