Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mum’s out there. I was able to visit my mum today and it was so nice to chat in person rather than zoom. How are you surviving being home? My husband is going back to work next week, and I think I’ll actually miss him to chat with during the day!! I am still working from home so I’m not getting many opportunities to craft but it is definitely nicer to not have to commute for 2 hours a day.

We are on week 2 of casing our Favourite Retiring bundles from either the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue or the January-June 2020 mini catalogue. I am doing my favourite from the Annual catalogue this week.

I love the Cuckoo for You bundle!! It’s the Cuckoo for you stamp set and the Cuckoo Clock dies. This is such cute set!!

I’m casing the card on page 29 of the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue. I had not even noticed that this card has a special feature with the pull at the bottom of the clock. I used the basket weave embossing folder for the background.

I stamped all the little pieces of the clock in Memento black and cut out with the Cuckoo Clock dies. I then coloured it all with Stampin’ Blends. Just a heads up that blends will only be available in combo packs in the next Annual catalogue, so if you need any single pens, grab them now before they sell out.

I cut out a stitched circle in So Saffron and then layered it all with dimensionals to assemble it.

The sentiment is from the Cuckoo for you stamp set and I thought it was a great one to use to send to one of my friends who I haven’t been able to see.
