I hope you have all been keep safe and busy at home this week. I’ve been working from home which has been “interesting”. Fortunately, I’m having the next week off as holidays which I had planned from the start of the year to get some job done around home. At least now I have my husband home to who can “help” me as well. (or hinder, I’m not sure!!)
I was excited today to get into the craft room and work on my project for this challenge. We are creating an Easter card using our sketch.

I started off by having a look at my Designer Series Papers and I landed on the Magnolia Lane DSP. I decided to use one of the floral pieces which I cut out with the Stitched Rectangle dies. For the background, I embossed a piece of Petal Pink cardstock with the Subtle embossing folder for a little bit of texture.
I grabbed out the Hold on to Hope stamp set and stamped the cross in Petal Pink on the matching cardstock. And then cut it out using the Cross of Hope framelits. The sentiment is from the same set and is stamped in Mossy Meadow.
I layered everything with dimensionals to give it a lift.

I hope you are finding things to keep you occupied, like doing our challenges!! hint hint!!
Next up is the lovely Sandra, over in New Zealand.
Please share your creation with us over on at our Facebook group!
Happy Stamping

Simple and elegant and really lovely, Bec. Good luck with the working from home. I hope you can sneak some extra crafty time in there! 🙂 Siobhan.
Thanks 😊
Perfect in its simplicity, Bec.
Thank you 😊
Can’t go wrong with Subtle embossing and that dense DSP is just enough interest without detracting from the message. Happy Easter 🙂
Thank you 🙂
Love the simplicity and elegance. Gorgeous.
Thank you 😊
Lovely colour combo for your Easter card, Rebecca.

I love the simple elegance of your card! So pretty, and perfect foe a religious Easter card.
Thank you 😊
Great card Rebecca, I love all the “pink” space and the subtle embossing works perfectly.
Thanks 😊
