Welcome to another fun week at Caseing the Catty!! I hope you have had a great week. I had to finish work early on Thursday so that I could get home before the roads flooded. Lucky I did, as I don’t think I would have made it through if I had left it any later in the day. It was such a shame to have to leave work early (NOT!!) so I spent the afternoon at home crafting and listening to the rain on the roof. Perfect afternoon!!
So since that wonderful rain, it has been so hot and humid!! I worked up a sweat making my card today. Eww!
We are casing the colours from the Kerchief Card Kit which is in the Sale-a-bration Catalogue. The colours you can choose from are: Balmy Blue, Coastal Cabana, Early Espresso, Gold, Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, Petal Pink, Pear Pizzazz, Poppy Parade and White.
I have decided to go with Balmy Blue, Night of Navy, Early Espresso and White.
As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, my dad is an avid golfer, so the Country Club Suite is perfect for him. Now I know that Father’s Day is a long way off for us in Australia but I had to use the banner stamp and the laurel die!!
I started with the Absolutely Argyle 3d embossing folder in Night of Navy and then cut out a rectangle from the Stitched so Sweetly dies. These would have to be my favourite dies at the moment. (Well until I use the next set!!) Then another rectangle in Whisper White from the Stitched Rectangle dies.
I love that the Golf Club dies includes 2 club dies which I cut out in Early Espresso. I also cut out the laurel and the banner.
I think Dad is going to love these cards using this set!! Is it September yet?
My kitties were having a busy day and wanted to say hi.
Next up is the lovely Julia, I can’t wait to see what she has created.
We would love to see your creations using the colours of the Kerchief Card kit so please share it on our Facebook page.
