Welcome to a fun week of Colour Inkspiration. I’m having a week off work as I’m not having any time off over Christmas (very sad about that!). I’m having a lovely time sleeping in (7am is a sleep in, right?), doing some Christmas shopping, crafting with my Mum and doing some Christmas baking.

We have a great colour combo to play with this week, with Blueberry Bushel, Shaded Spruce, Coastal Cabana, Pretty Peacock and silver.

Isn’t this image just gorgeous! I always start by getting out the cardstock in all the colours and I realised that Blueberry Bushel is part of the Noel Peacock Foil pack. I wanted to emboss it, using the Tin Tile embossing folder. Doesn’t it look stunning!

I used a Pretty Peacock base, and layered the BB foil piece with Silver foil. I decided to use the Bells are Ringing set and matching Detailed Bells Dies. I silver embossed the large bell and then stamped the inside parts of the bell using the Silvery Shimmer ink. I then cut out three other bells in Blueberry Bushel, Coastal Cabana and Silver foil. I also stamped a bunch of leaves in Shaded Spruce.

The sentiment is in Blueberry Bushel and cut out with my favourite Stitched Rectangle dies.

Next up is the lovely Monique. I can’t wait to see what she has created.

Share your creation with us at over on at our Facebook group.

Happy Stamping

  1. The embossed blue background (it is embossed?) really adds depth and opulence to your design. The bells were a good choice to show off the colours.
