CTC253 – Come to Gather

Welcome to our hop at Caseing the Catty this week!! I can’t believe that we are into November and that the end of the year is coming up quickly!! But I am excited to be putting up my Christmas tree next weekend! I don’t care if people think it’s too early, but I love my trees (yes there’s more than one) and decorations and love having the lights on every night.

This week, we are casing the Come to Gather suite, pages 46-51 of the 2019 Holiday Catalogue.

I was inspired by the Apple card on page 49 on the top right corner.

I love the Gleaming Ornaments punches and decided to use them on my card. My colours were inspired by the Wrapped in Plaid dsp. This is such a nice paper and I love the gold elements on it. I stamped the larger ornament with Golden Glitz ink and punched out 4. The smaller ornament is stamped in Cherry Cobbler. I scored each one in half and glued them together. I also stamped the holly in the gold ink as well and coloured using blends.

The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Christmas set.

Next up is my lovely travel budding, Tina. Can’t believe it’s been 12 months since we went to Onstage in Orlando!!

Come and share your creation over on at our Facebook group.

Happy Stamping!

  1. What a great CASE – those baubles look so good layered up like that. I love the gold cord you’ve used for their strings, it ties in nicely with the other little pops of gold on the card and in the DSP. Just love that plaid DSP. Beautiful card. 🙂 Siobhan.
