Happy World Card Making Day for yesterday! I hope you were able to make a card or two yesterday. I had a lovely day with a couple of my customers and I made the Christmas Countdown Project Kit and the Joy of Giving Tag Kit. Both of these kits are so much nicer than the photos in the catalogue!
This week, we are casing the Toile Tidings Suite, pages 6-11 of the 2019 Holiday Catalogue.

I decided to case one of the wreath cards on page 9.

I really love the look of the vellum over the cardstock so that is where I started. I love the Perennial Essence DSP but I have struggled to use it as it’s so nice and I don’t want to cut it up!. But I bit the bullet and did it. Well just a little bit of it!!
I cut a wreath in Highland Heather using the All Around Wreath die and attached it using mini dimensionals. I then used a Crushed Curry marker and inked up the outline of the banner from the Toile Christmas stamp set which I then cut out with the Christmas Cardinal die. I stamped the Thanks sentiment (from Here’s a Card) in Silvery Shimmer ink.

Next up is the lovely Tina.
Please share your project with us over on at our Facebook group.
Happy Stamping

Lovely card, Rebecca. I haven’t managed to use this DSP yet, but I think keeping it simple is key.
Absolutely!
Lovely card Rebecca, the vellum over the DSP looks fabulous. I’m struggling to cut into this DSP too, it’s too pretty to cut lol
Thanks 😊
LOL, I have a hard time cutting into that DSP too! It’s so pretty, and the wreath you’ve layered on yours looks fantastic.
Thanks 😊
Beautiful card. I love how you can still see the lovely DSP through the vellum. The colours for the wreath and sentiment go perfectly with the DSP.
Thank you 😊
