It feels like we are already entering into Spring!! It’s a bit warmer this weekend!! So nice sitting in the sun being warm!
This week, we are casing the colours from the Woven Threads DSP and then use the cards on page 12 for layout inspiration. The colours are Pretty Peacock, Purple Posy, Rococo Rose, Sahara Sand, Seaside Spray, Terracotta Tile and Whisper White.

I was inspired by the small grouping of cards on page 12 that use the embossing paste.

I got out the Pattern Party decorative masks and went with the circular one. I was going to use the shimmery white embossing paste but sadly it had dried out. I went with the plain white paste instead. I then spritzed the dried piece with Terracotta Tile, Pretty Peacock and Rococo Rose. I did try Seaside Spray but it didn’t come out very well. Also my aim seem to go a bit weird so I got splats where I wasn’t aiming! Once it was dry, I then painted it all over with Wink of Stella for a bit of sparkle.
I then stamped the sentiment from Itty Bitty Birthdays in Pretty Peacock and cut it out using the Merry Christmas thinlits.

Next up is the lovely Rachel!

Happy Stamping

This looks Like so much fun. And the colour mixing is awesome. Great technique card. Fun and simple all in one go!
That’s just so pretty Bec!
Such a cool effect. I love the way the colours mix together. I like the way you’ve kept the rest of the card unadorned so the stenciled beauty can really stand out.
Thanks
That’s such a cool effect over the embossing paste! Don’t you hate it when the paste is dry when you go to use it 😦
Yes!! So annoying!
Great card Rebecca and very clever to spritz the colours on the embossing paste.
Thanks 😊
Clever idea, Rebecca. The embossing paste seems to take the colour well. I find spritz bottles have a mind of their own, lol.
Thanks
What a great idea with the embossing Paste and then spritzing it with the different inks. It gives a great effect. Great card!
Thanks
