CTC234 – Pressed Petals | The Paper and Stamp Addict

Welcome to a fun week at Caseing the Catty!! We are trying a few different challenges and this week, we are casing the colour scheme from the gorgeous Pressed Petals Specialty DSP.

This DSP is just so pretty and I love all the colours together.

Whenever I do a colour challenge, I always get out the cardstock in all the colours and see what inspires me. I didn’t want to use the Pressed Petals DSP (well, actually I did but I wanted to try something different).

I just got the Band Together stamp set and the co-ordinating Detailed bands dies. This stamp set features a really large flower which is great for colouring. I fussy cut my flower and coloured with Old Olive and Rococo Rose blends.

I layered up with Crumb Cake, Night of Navy and embossed a piece of Pear Pizzazz with the 3d Layered Leaves embossing folder. I cut the band in Daffodil Delight. The centre piece does come out but I needed something to stamp the sentiment on.

Great combination of sets, Peta. I love how your creation with this colour palette is so bright and happy. I can’t wait to get the Band Together bundle, although I’m not sure I’ll be able to colour it as beautifully as you have here. 🙂 Siobhan.
