Welcome to another fun week at Caseing the Catty!! We are casing our favourite retiring punch this week. I love all the punches so I’m sad to see any go.

I like all banner punches so I’m sad to see the Duet Banner punch retire. This great punch allows you to punch out two different styles of banner.
I am casing the card on page 56.

I used the retiring Gingham Gala DSP as the background. I love this DSP!! I then stamped lots of the inspiring words from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set in rows and then punched out the bottom with the Triple Banner punch.
I used the new Story Label punch for the So Saffron piece and then stamped the banner twice. Once on Highland Heather cardstock and then on Whisper White cardstock. I punched them out then snipped off the flags of the white one and layered it on top of the Highland Heather one.
I added some twine behind the sentiment (I’m not confessing how long it took to make it look half way decent) and voila!!

Make sure you check out the rest of the hop to see what other great punches are retiring and if there are any that you must have, make sure you grab them before they run out!!
Next up is the lovely Tina.
We would love if you share your favourite retiring punch project with us on our Facebook group.
Happy stamping (or punching as it may be!!)

Great CASE Rebecca, I’m not good at doing that twine thing either lol.
Love the colours and all the sentiments stamped on the banner look great
I love how you have layered two punches, makes for a quick sentiment. Great idea, thanks for sharing
Thanks
Oh I’m glad I’m not the only one who takes forever trying to get twine to look just right!! You’ve done a great job with it here. I love the fun colour combo you’ve used in your CASE and the stamped background. This is a great little punch, shame its retiring. – Siobhan.
Haha thanks 😊
That’s a great mix of colours, Rebecca.
This looks great with the gingham gala! Love all the words in the background too. Great case project!
Thanks
