CI55

It’s been a few weeks since I joined into a Colour Inkspiraton Challenge. The trouble with holidays and then getting back into work left me without much time to create! I always forget how much I enjoy playing with SU colours until I do a CI challenge.

This week, we are playing with Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lime Twist, Smoky Slate, Grapefruit Grove and Rich Razzleberry. You can choose at least 3 colours to create with.

I have gone with Flirty Flamingo, Smoky Slate and Lemon Lime Twist. Now I have to confess that Lemon Lime Twist was not my favourite of the 2017-2019 In colours however it seems to be the colour I have used the most!

I have used the Crackle stamp set in Smoky Slate ink on the Smoky Slate background for a bit of texture. I also stamped the two elephants from the Little Elephants stamp set in Smoky Slate and then punched them out using the Elephant builder punch. I added a border using the Decorative Ribbon border punch in Lemon Lime Twist. I then stamped the sentiment in Flirty Flamingo and punched out using 1.5″ circle punch. I then punched out a 1 3/8″ circle in Flirty Flamingo.

I’m so glad that the Little elephant stamp set and the Elephant builder punch are staying on for the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue!

Next up is the lovely Nicole.

Make sure you share your creation with us over at our Facebook group, here.

Happy Stamping

  1. Love the crackle backgrounds! What a cute card. I’m happy these guys will be around for a bit longer too. Lovely colours Bec.
