I’m so excited for our hop this week! We are casing the Kids & Babies section, pages 80-91, of the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue.
One of our former Crew members, Krissy, had twins last week after a long fertility journey. The CTC Crew is so excited for her! And the boys are just so adorable. So, of course, this week, I had to make a baby boy card.
I don’t have much need these days for baby stamp sets, although I like to have at least one set on hand. This year, I had to have the Little Elephant stamp set and Elephant Builder punch. It’s just so cute! I am casing the pink elephant card on page 91.
But of course, it can’t be pink!! I started off with a Night of Navy background and added a strip of Balmy Blue which I stamped with the hearts from the Little Elephant stamp set.
Now I don’t sew on cards. I actually love cross stitch, embroidery and crocheting, but I don’t do it on cards. I just can’t be bothered to get my sewing machine out just for a 10cm piece of cardstock. So instead of stitching, I stamped the checks in Night of Navy across the bottom of the white piece. I punched out two elephant in Balmy Blue and stamped the flowers using the 2018-2020 In-colour markers.
Now I don’t have any stamp sets for twins but to create my sentiment, I used the one from the Little Elephant. Then I crossed out the one and added a 2 using the Make a Difference stamp set. I think it’s cute!!
I love the elephants!! Now, who else is having a baby?
Next up is the lovely Rachel.
Make sure you join in with us at our Facebook group, we’d love to see what you create from this section.
Happy stamping

Oh my, Bec, this is cute. Love how you added the plaid amongst the flowers.
Thanks
Super cute card Bec and very creative with your sentiment.
Thank you 😊
Your card is very cute, Rebecca.
Thanks 😊
I love this, and what a creative way to make a ‘twins’ sentiment 🙂
Thanks 😊
I absolutely love this stamp set and matching punch, you have inspired me to try and case this challenge using this stamp set. I can imagine multiple elephants following each other on a card in a celebration of love with hearts. I love your card and it’s made me think of not just one elephant but a whole family brought together with love. Angexx
Thank you for your lovely comments. 😊
That was a stroke of genius to alter your sentiment that way! Card is very cute.
Thanks!
I love your card! The sentiment is so clever and cute. Totally adorable case.
Thanks 😊
