CTC184 – Delightfully Detailed

It’s been a bit chilly this week, so those of us in Queensland are having a little taste of winter.  Having said that, I just have a t-shirt on today!

This week at CTC, we are casing the Delightfully Detailed section, pages 38-51 of the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue.

I decided to case the card on page 47 which features the Pop of Petals bundle.  I need to add this bundle to my list!

Firstly, I got my colour combo from the Online Color Coach that Stampin’ Up! provided after Onstage.  I went with Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Call Me Clover.

Aren’t they pretty?  I used Petal Pink as the base of the card.  I used a retired doily as it was larger than the current ones.  I cut the Call Me Clover circle using the Foliage Frame Framelits and the new Big Shot Embossing Mats.  Can you see the embossing details on the petals?  I could get addicted to this!

I then stamped my sentiment from the Love What You Do stamp set in Flirty Flamingo and cut it out using the Circle framelits.  I stamped a couple of flowers from the Floral Frames stamp set in Petal Pink ink.  I also added a couple of self adhesive sequins in Pearl White.

This card is being sent off to my lovely friend, Emma cos I’m very lucky to have her as my friend.

Next up is the lovely Peta.  I can’t wait to see what she has created this week.

Make sure you join in and share your creations with us on our Facebook group.

Happy Stamping

  1. What a gorgeous card Bec! The online colour coach really has done a great job at picking some pretty colours for you to work with. I also love, love, love the Floral Frames die cut with the leaves. It it really pretty! And of course, I love the card as a whole and I can’t wait to receive some cute happy mail ❤️
