CTC168 – Petal Passion

I’ve been doing shift work for the last 4 weeks which has been great as I get a few days off each week.  I’ve really enjoyed spending time in my craft room during my days off.  I’ve just done a night shift (the very unfun part of shift work) so I’m feeling a bit zombie like tonight.  It’s all finished now, so back to normal tomorrow!!

This week, we are casing the Petal Passion section, pages 22-27, of the 2018 Sale-a-bration catalogue.

The Petal Passion set is lovely but I decided to case the box on page 27 using the Hold on to Hope bundle and turn it into a little card using the super cute Narrow note cards.

I based my colours on the Naturally Eclectic DSP.  I went with the slightly distressed Emerald Envy piece of DSP as the background.  I then stamped the greenery in Lemon Lime Twist, the flower and butterfly in Fresh Fig and the sentiment in Emerald Envy.  Oh and it’s the Hold on to Hope stamp set.

I then cut out the flower, butterfly and silver cross using the matching Cross of Hope Framelits.  The oval is from the Stitched Shape framelits.

And look, I even stamped the envelope!!

I think I’m going to use this card for my nieces’ to go with their Easter present.  Just so that they don’t forget the real reason for Easter.

I really love the Narrow note cards!  They are just too cute!!

Next up on the hop is the lovely Kathryn.

I hope you can share your creation from this section with us on our Facebook group.

Happy Stamping,

  1. This is a perfect case into a card. The colours are amazing, and I love the sentiment too – just perfect for Easter. And it’s always fun to have the coordinating envelope! Just beautiful.
