Aren’t you just loving the Holiday Catalogue!! If you don’t have one, you NEEEED one!! Let me know if you want one and I’ll post one to you, or you can click on the link at the side.
This week, we are casing the Merry Little Christmas section, pages 10-19, of the 2017 Holiday Catalogue.
I decided to case the card on page 17 using the Feeling of Christmas stamp set.
I just love the Pinewood Planks embossing folder. It’s hard to decide which side to use as both look fabulous. I pretty much cased the card exactly but I used a gold metallic doily instead. I have to confess that I had to stamp the wreath about 6 times!!! I couldn’t believe it! I either stuffed up the distressed circle or the flower wreath.
I wanted to make a second version using the Wood Textures DSP stack. I also just coloured the wreath using my aqua painter and Pear Pizzazz ink. And I added a white doily this time.
Which one do you prefer? I think I like the DSP version.

Love both cards Rebecca especially the one on the DSP xx
Thank you
Both are great but I’m leaning towards the DSP one!
Thanks!
Great CASE Rebecca. That metallic doily looks awesome! It really lifts the card with the perfect amount of bling 🙂
Thanks
I love your CASEs this week Rebecca, I totally love how many projects that Wood texture DSP is perfect for! Thanks for adding Christmas cards to that long list!
You’re welcome!
Ooooo. My favourite is the DSP. It looks fabulous! What a great case! And the gold doily is a great touch too. And now I need to ink up this set myself. I wonder how many times I’ll have to try before I get it right?????
Thanks!
I loved your confession Rebecca!! Great to hear we are all human 🙂 I like them both by the way, but especially the colouring in the 2nd one…
Thanks Sandra
Great cards Rebecca, I love the card with the gold doily and the washi tape
Thanks Peta
Oooh, Two pretty cards, Bec! I think my favourite is the clean & simple style of the wooden one because I’m a bit OCD & prefer a lovely coloured image to a distressed circle stamp.
Thanks Tricia
Gorgeous Bec! The pop of gold really adds a special Christmas touch! Kelly x
Thanks
I love how both of these turned out, hard to pick a favourite! Amazing how the wood DSP can be used for so many different projects.I really love how the leaves work as a background stamp.
Thank so much
