We have another gorgeous colour combination at Colour Inkspiration this week with Elegant Eggplant, Soft Sky, Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist.
As always, I get out the cardstock in each colour and study them for a while to see what inspired me about them. I then have a look at my stamp sets and see what might work. I decided on the Brushstrokes stamp set for the background and the Happiest of Days stamp set for the flowers and sentiment. I really love the line work on this set.
Now don’t have a heart attack, but I actually USED some washi tape on this card!! From 2 sets, the Basics Pack 2 and the Basics pack 3.
I used my markers to colour the birthday wishes stamp which is a technique I just love. I added a little piece of Lemon Lime Twist Ombre ribbon.
I really enjoy doing my projects for Colour Inkspiration as it challenges me to use colours that I might not normally put together.
Make sure you share your projects with this colour combo at our Facebook Group, here.
Next up is the amazing Bronwyn.
Happy Stamping
