As you may know, one of my favourite perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is being able to see and order products first. And this week, demonstrators got to see and order from the 2017 Holiday catalogue!! I tell you, you are going to love it! I’m presently unpatiently waiting for the post lady to bring my treasures to me!!
Whilst I am waiting, I’ve been playing with my goodies from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue for Caseing the Catty. This week, we are casing the For Babies & Kids section from pages 102-111.
I actually didn’t go past the first page of this section to choose my project for this week. I decided to case the card at the top right of the display (which by the way, is just gorgeous, isn’t it!)
The Bundle of Love Specialty DSP is so pretty and I just love how the reverse of the pink and blue dsp are the same pattern in Gold!
I wanted to use a different colour so I went with Wisteria Wonder. I don’t have the Born to be Loved stamp set (but I’m thinking maybe I do need it!) so I decided to create my heart using the Bloomin’ Heart thinlits and gold foil. How pretty is the heart in gold! I then stamped the sentiment from the Ribbon of Courage set in Wisteria Wonder and cut it out using the Sweet and Sassy heart framelits. I went for the same look with the Metallic edge ribbon and added three mini sequins with the fine tip glue pen at the bottom.
I attached the gold heart using a combination of standard and mini dimensional’s.
I hope you have enjoyed my case of this card this week. You can share your projects at our Facebook group, which you can join here.
Next up is fellow kitty lover, Peta.
