I hope you enjoyed the last colour challenge. It was so nice seeing everyone’s entries!! Congratulations to the winners.
I found the colours for this next challenge to be, well, challenging!! Definitely not colours I would put together myself but that’s the point of doing a challenge. To try different combinations!!
In case you can’t read the tiny writing, the colours are Delightful Dijon, Tip Top Taupe, Soft Suede, Early Espresso and Very Vanilla.
I decided to make my background using the Paisleys & Posies stamp set. I hesitated to buy this set when it first came out in the Holiday catalogue but I liked all the samples I saw, so when I found it was carrying through, I purchased it along with the matching framelits. But I haven’t used it until today!!!
Two of my favourite framelits at the moment are the Layering Circles (oh and the squares and ovals) and the Stitched Shape framelits. They just go so nicely together. My sentiment is from the Birthday Blooms stamp set.
I hope you have enjoyed my card. Please leave a comment and let me know.
Oh and make sure you check out the clearance rack as lots of new products have been added.
Next up on the hop is Monique. I can’t wait to see what she has created.
Happy Stamping

Loving the stamped background. It looks great in these colours. And I love the stitched shapes framelits too
Such a cool idea to use the paisley stamps for this colour challenge. Love it!
Love your retro 70’s style Rebecca. The paisley images work so well with the colours…Love it! xx
Beautifully done with the Paisleys and Posies stamp set, Rebecca. D ♡
Such a clever use of the colours & stamp sets for this challenge. I don’t have these paisleys as I couldn’t see me using them, but I do like what you have done here with them. I love how the swirly sentiment really compliments the background.
So clever. Such a great use of the colour combination. I am just astounded at how different everyone’s take is on the is challenge. Really love your card.
I’m liking the Paisley even if it is a touch 70’s, and it looks fab in these shades!
Such a beautiful card Rebecca! I certainly agree about those framelits too!
Love what you have done with the paisley set Rebecca – I was “challenged” with these colours too! tfs xxx
What a lovely background – I can never leave enough white space but you’ve got a great eye for balance Bec. Lovely use of the colours. ( i love the framelits too!)
Love, love, love the paisleys! Those colours do rather scream retro!! Beautiful card! Kelly x
