Welcome back to another year of Caseing the Catty!! I hope you had a Merry Christmas and a fabulous New Year. I’m coming to the end of holidays and back at work tomorrow. I’ve had a lovely time pottering around at home and tidying up my craft room and doing some crafting.
The 2017 Occasions Catalogue and Sale-a-bration catalogue started this week and wow, Stampin’ Up! have created two fabulous catalogues!
We are excited to case the Occasions Catalogue this week and the Party Animal section on pages 4-7.
I decided to case the card at the top of page 6 using the Big on Birthdays stamp set. I just love this set!
I also love the Falling in Love DSP so I decided to combine the two. To create the scallop edge, I used the Layering Squares framelits and cut out strips and joined them together. I stamped the sentiment and flowers in Soft Suede and coloured in with Blushing Bridge and Old Olive using the blender pens. Of course, you need a bit of bling, so I layered the new Very Vanilla satin ribbon and blushing bride sequins.
I hope you have enjoyed my card! Next on our hop is my lovely friend, Simone Bartrum.
We are trying something new this year and instead of using a link up to join in with our monthly challenge, we have decided to create a Facebook group where you can add your entry. We would love to have you pop in and join us!!!
Happy Stamping

Oh this if great Rebecca! I loved this layout too! And great use of the ribbon & trim to add the bling!
Stunning card and great tip for the corners.
What a stunning & pretty case, Bec. You have just pushed me over the edge on this stamp set. What a great tip using the square framelits for the edge. Perfect for when you need a little something extra.
You need this set! It’s great!
I love your use of colours for this card and that DSP is just divine isn’t it ?
It’s the best 😊
Super sweet Bec – those colours are divine! Thanks for organising us all for another year of CTC and doing all the hard work for the transition to Facebook. I can’t wait to see what everyone creates. Kelly x
A beautiful card Rebecca. I love how feminine it is!
Pretty, pretty with the DSP and sweet little flowers.
Gorgeous card, Rebecca. Looks fabulous with that DSP.
Great card! Great layout! Awesome use of the falling in love DSP for the background. It works just perfectly.
