Hello there!! I’m back from my New York/Canada holiday but not for long!! Tomorrow I head off to on a two week cruise to New Zealand with my mum and sister!! Bring on the holidays!!
I’m excited to be back with the girls at CTC this week. It was great catching up with most of the team at the Stampin’ Up! Onstage event last week. We are casing the Petals and Paisley section of the Holiday Catalogue.
I was all set to make something using the Paisley & Posies stamp set and then realised I don’t have it!! So I decided to case the card at the bottom of page 46.
Although I love copper I haven’t actually used it on anything. Instead of embossing in white, I went with copper and I used the snowflake from the Tin of Tags stamp set. I then sponged with Dapper Denim.
I embossed my sentiment from the same stamp set and cut it out with the new Stitched Shapes framelits. Aren’t they nice!!! You can purchase the framelits now and get selected stamp sets (including Tin of Tags) for 25% off until the end of November.
It looks much shinier in real life!! I love copper and I plan on using it more often!!
Next up on the hop is the lovely Deb Speijers.
Don’t forget to join in with our monthly challenge!! Just add your project at the link below.
I’ll be back in a couple of weeks!!

Rebecca love the snowflakes, copper embossing with the Dapper Denim! Great CASEing! I am quite addicted to that Copper Embossing Powder!
Lovely embossed card, Rebecca. You have inspired me to crack open my copper embossing powder and do some embossed resist! Have a great holiday in NZ. Trusting the earthquakes haven’t affected your cruise.
Lovely Bec, the copper is gorgeous. Love that we can take a stamp set so different and use the same inspiration! enjoy your cruise, watch out for earthquakes!!!!
Simply gorgeous Bec! Being on holidays agrees with your creative streak – though how you found the time, I have no idea!!! Kelly x
Rebecca, another holiday that is amazing you just had enough free time to attend OnStage Live. I like your Christmas Card, wonderful sponging of colour and the Copper is so on trend.
Love those copper snowflakes!
