CTC90 – Project Life and Kits

Can you believe that we are already in August?  The year is just flying past!! And getting closer to my overseas trip!!  Only 52 days to go!

This week, we are casing the Project Life and Kits sections of the 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue.  There are so many gorgeous kits in this catalogue and I love them all!!  However, I also love the Project Life kits as well and especially the Hello Lovely kit.  This is to die for!!  I think I need to have a second kit just to keep and look at.  hehe!!

So I couldn’t decide what to do as I didn’t want to use up the cards as they are so pretty!!  I don’t have any photos ready at the mo, so I decided to create a card inspired by the layout on the top right corner on page 163.

So I made up two cards using this layout.  I cut out an Old Olive base and had to trim the base and the actual card a little bit so that you couldn’t see the base.  The hardest part was deciding which cards to use.  Once that was decided, I just added a strip of the washi tape including in the Accessory Pack and a few sequins.

The Project Life kits make for quick and easy cards!!

How gorgeous are these cards!!  I love them!!  Please leave me a comment below and let me know what you think.

Next on the hop is Deb.  She is doing such a great job as a new Crew member!!

  1. I love your cards too – they are so beautiful – and EASY too!! What a fabulous way to use the PL cards, and what an awesome idea for a card-in-a-hurry. Thank you for the inspiration!!

  2. So pretty! I’m such a fan of using Project Life for card making as well as memory keeping. I have been thinking about purchasing this set, wondering if I’ll use it as much as I think I will … you’ve just answered that for me, thanks! P.S LOVE the washi and sequins too.

  3. How do Stampin’ Up! keep coming up with so much loveliness? These PL cards are beautiful Bec and you have used them so well in your cards. I sometimes think the words on the cards are just a beautiful prompt to appreciate each moment —i guess that’s what photo journalling is all about.

  4. Love love love your cards! I can so relate to your reluctance to “use up” these gorgeous cards – lke the idea of a second set just to look at!
