CTC76 – Have a Cuppa

We are working our way through the Occasions catalogue and are up to the Have a Cuppa section on pages 34-37.

ctc 76 - have a cuppa

There are lots of very cute cards in this section.  I was inspired to case the card on page 37 as a last hurrah to the Striped Scallops thinlits die is retiring and I will miss it!!ctc76

But I don’t have the Picture Perfect stamp set or actually any stamps featuring a nice flower.  But then I remembered the gorgeous Birthday Bouquet DSP and decided to cut out the flower.

I did some spritzing with Watermelon Wonder and the aqua painter and then use the gold Wink of Stella and the aqua painter for an extra little bit of interest.

I used the retiring stamp set, A Dozen Thoughts, for the sentiment.  I’m so happy with how this card turned out.  I might have to keep my scallop thinlits!!

  1. Great CASE Bec, that’s super fussy cutting and it looks so effective. I’m not getting rid of my scallops Thinlits either. ( I even still have the lattice die which I also love to use the same way.) love your little splatters too.

  2. Love this card Bec. That’s one of my favourite cards in the whole Occasions catty… yes you definitely need to get the scallops framelits 😉 Gorgeous!
