At CASE-ing the Catty this week, we are sharing projects inspired by the Hostess section of the catalogue. There are 5 lovely exclusive hostess stamp sets which you can only earn if you host a workshop.
I just love the A Whole lot of Lovely stamp set. It’s probably my favourite of the 5 sets, although closely followed by the Floral Wings set as well. Seeing as there was only 1 sample in the catalogue, I decided to case another card from the Catalogue from page 109.
Now I will admit, it’s rather loosely based on this card!!.
So to get started, I decided to crack open my 2014-2016 In Color Designer Washi Tape. Now I love washi tape and I have nearly all that Stampin’ Up! have come out with but I rarely use it!! It does look lovely on my tape holder but it would be better if I actually used it!! So I used some today. Only 4.5 metres left to go. hehe
I love using the marker technique on stamps so the Thank You stamp in this set is just perfect for that. And I think it looks rather stunning, if I say so myself!! To co-ordinate with the washi tape, I used Lost Lagoon, Taneglo Twist, Mossy Meadow and Hello Honey.
I couldn’t decide whether or not to use the smaller flower so I did a card with each. I think I prefer the one without but they both look nice. What’s your choice?
So, how do you earn this gorgeous set? Simply host a workshop or place a qualifying order and earn Stampin’ Rewards to purchase the exclusive hostess sets or any other products from the Annual catalogue or Holiday/Occasions catalogues. Contact me at stampinwithrebecca@yahoo.com.au or 0408 193 792 to lock in a date for your workshop.
Now to continue the hop, visit Jessica at The Paper Caper to see what gorgeousness she has created this week.
Happy stamping

Love the little burlap detail attached with the staple. I too must admit that I don’t use my washi as often as I should. Take note : use more washi! Thanks for the inspiration Bec.
Rebecca you have done great with this one, the fresh colours give it a new look.
Love the markering – looks awesome on your card! Love the burlap – fantastic textural detail, and I love the bright colours of the washi and markers too!! Cute card!! And I love how the design is ‘loosely’ based on the layout – I really love your clean and simple version!!
Such gorgeous cards! Because I’m a CAS girl at heart, the card sans flowers works for me. 🙂
I love the curled stapled burlap detail too.
Love your CAS CASE Bec! I do love this stamp too and the marker technique certainly shows off all its details. I agree with you too. It’s hard to choose but I’m voting for the card without the flower 🙂
Love the colors and use of the washi tape. It’s a really cheery card.
