This week at Case-ing the Catty,we are celebrating the baby section of the catalogue. Now there’s nothing like a new baby, but this week, there’s nothing baby about my cards!!
I don’t have kids and my nieces are well past being babies, so I only have one baby set for when a baby card is needed. Although, the Baby Project Life kits are sooo cute, it makes me almost want to borrow a baby for some cute pics!!
I decided to case the card on Page 36, on the right hand side sitting on the crushed curry dsp, of the Catalogue.
I used the I think you’re great stamp set (which I got for free at convention!!) for the background stamp. I decided to use the note cards, which I often forget are in the catalogue. You can get a set of 20 cards and envelopes for only $10.50, which is a great price. Did you know that works out to be 52 cents for a card and envelope!! They come in Whisper White or Crumb Cake.
I couldn’t decide which colour to use, so I decided to use the new In-Colours, Mint Macaron, Watermelon Wonder, Delightful Dijon and Cucumber Crush. Yes, I know I didn’t use Tip Top Taupe, but I only had 4 cards left!
I’ve been dying to use the new Metallic foil doilies, which is what made me choose this card to case. Oh, and my Metallic thread finally arrived yesterday, so I had to add a bit of that too.
I used the envelope liners framelit to cut out the In-Colour envelope paper. How cute do they look!!!
So I’m the last stop on the hop today, so it’s back to the CTC Blog from here.
Happy Stamping
