This week at Case-ing the Catty, we are up to the Thanks section of the catalogue. There are so many lovely cards to choose from!! You may have come from my very talented friend, Emma, or be starting here with me.
I decided to case the card on the bottom of page 15 which uses the A World of Thanks stamp. I love this stamp!! Did you know that it says thank you in each language of the countries that Stampin’ Up! is in!! Isn’t that great!!!
I decided to be a little different though and use the Bravo stamp set which has lots of congratulations sentiments on it. I laid out the stamps on a piece of card to try and get them all to fit. I then stamped each one in versamark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. I did it one word at a time so that the ink didn’t dry out.
I then added some stars using the star framelits, in Cherry Cobbler and Gold glimmer paper. I also used the gold thread from the gold baker’s twine behind the stars. Can you believe that I forgot to order the new gold and silver metallic threads!! How on earth did that happen!!
I hope you like my card. I’d love it if you could leave me a comment below!!
The next stop on the hop is my other talented friend, Jessica.
Happy Stamping
Rebecca
